Insider Series Class Visit: Leadership Lessons from Industry CEOs

The Kellogg Evening & Weekend MBA Program invites prospective students to register for one of our most popular class visits-  Professor Harry Kraemer's course, Managerial Leadership. Each week, Professor Kraemer invites industry leaders to speak about their leadership style and lessons they learned from leading organizations and people.

About the Course:
Managerial Leadership (KACI-468-0) is designed to help students understand the character and challenges of leadership as it exists and can exist in various organizational settings. It is intended to provide insights into the demands of leadership and explore how leadership skills can be developed and applied most effectively. Interaction with guest lecturers provides an opportunity to observe and dissect various approaches to leadership. The objective of the course is to help students prepare for, and make them more sensitive to, continuing opportunities for improving their own managerial and leadership capabilities. 

About Professor Kraemer:
Harry Kraemer is the former CEO and chairman of Baxter International and now an executive partner with Madison Dearborn Partners, one of the largest private equity firms in the United States. In his new book, Becoming The Best: Build a World-Class Organization Through Values-Based Leadership, Kraemer examines how values-based leadership can lead to the best teams, partnerships and organizations.
