Gary is the Chairman of Hawkfish, a digital agency engaging with political candidates, allies, and causes. From 2013-2018, Gary served as Facebook’s first CMO, responsible for the company’s brand, consumer, and product marketing. Prior to joining Facebook, he was with Google where he led marketing efforts for search, maps, commerce, Chrome, Google+, Google.org, and the Google brand overall.

Earlier in his career he worked at eBay, Pepsi, IBM and McKinsey, providing global brand direction for some of these companies’ biggest launches and projects. 

He currently serves on the boards of Etsy, Petco and Afterpay.
